The demanding requirements of performance side-by-side vehicles necessitate a large diameter piggyback reservoir shock. The Fox 2.0″ coil-over piggyback shock, now available with dual speed compression adjust and rebound adjust will let you fine-tune your ride and handling to suit personal preference and terrain. The large diameter shock body and piggyback reservoir help to dissipate heat and keep things running cool.

Installation:

The installation is a piece of cake. All you need is a jack, 15mm socket and wrench and about 45 minutes. Everything bolts right up.

The standard Fox settings increase the ride height over stock about an inch or so.

Ride Review:

Triple Adjustments

TheFox 2.0 Piggyback RC2 come withHigh/Low Speed Compression Adjust andRebound Adjust that all have 24 different settings.

Low-Speed Compression Adjustment
Low-Speed Compression Adjustment primarily affects the compression damping during slow suspension movements such as g-outs or smooth jump landings. Choose a setting that gives good body control (roll in corners, dive under braking, squat under acceleration, etc.) without causing excessive harshness or loss of traction.

High-Speed Compression Adjustment
High-Speed Compression Adjustment mainly affects the compression damping during medium to fast suspension movements such as steep jump faces, harsh flat landings and aggressive whoops. The goal is to run as little high-speed compression damping as possible without bottoming out so your ride across the choppy dunes is as smooth as possible.

Rebound Adjustment

Between Joey from UTV Underground and I, we put about 100 miles on the RZR S with the new shocks in Glamis. As you can see by the jump pictures above, the 2.0 RC2’s did a great job soaking up uneven landings. Ride through the chop was smoother than stock, and I was much more confident in the vehicles ability to handle g-outs and sudden drop-offs.

The fit and finish of the shocks was perfect, and installation was a breeze. It was really nice to have an aftermarket product bolt up so nicely.

And the key thing that I like about the RC2’s is they are triple adjustable. 24 different settings for low and high speed compression and rebound mean that I can set my shocks for dunes of Glamis one day and the desert terrain of Ocotillo the next.

If you are an aggressive rider that needs more “capacity” than stock shocks can deliver, I would highly recommend upgrading to the 2.0 Piggyback RC2.
