The 4th Annual High Lifter Quadna Mud Nationals, presented by Polaris took place June 9-12, 2016 at the Quadna Mountain Park in Hill City, Minnesota.
Over 2,600 attended the largest mud event in Minnesota and proved that the north loves mud too. This years event offered a High Lifter VIP day allowing guest to attend a day early and participate in activities reserved only for VIPs. High Lifters owner, Scott Smith, lead the VIP Trail ride through 40 miles of Minnesotas beautiful trails. The group enjoyed a cook out then returned for a chance to win prizes valued over $200 plus enjoy a private barn dance with live music. The event kicked off on Friday with a weekend full of competitions, racing and exhibitions. This year offered new events, not only VIP day, but guest had a chance to win more prizes by taking a spin at the MB Quart Spin to Win Wheel. Over 250 attendees spun and won prizes from High Lifter and the vendors at the event.
The Amsoil Obstacle Course challenged competitors to a variety of whoops, rock and tire hill, a mud pit, tunnel and jump to see who brought it this year. Attendees watched as each competitor made their way through each area pushing to get the fastest time. The Arctic Cat Poker run was a big hit as guests rode between 5 spots throughout the park to see who landed the highest and lowest poker hand to take home the prize. The favorite for the kids at Quadna this year was the Big Air Tour. The Quads soared through the air performing death defying stunts during their amazing ATV Freestyle show.
The Polaris Sled Pull showed whos bike is a beast and can pull the heaviest load and the longest distance. Those with massive power dominated and brought home the cash. The Polaris Mud Bog drew racers from all over the US and Canada a chance to race through mud pit. Mud loving fans cheered as mud for their favorite as the mud flew. Some racers flew through the thick mud like it was nothing, several struggled to make it across and a few lost out and had to be towed out of the pit.
Polaris, Arctic Cat, Can-Am and CF Moto were also in attendance showing off their new ATVs and UTVs.
