Polaris RZR XP Turbo |
After a quick development cycle MCX-USA invested extra time in fine tuning the performance and reliability of this kit. All of the MCX-USA turbo kits double rear wheel horsepower or better and they wanted nothing less for the XP 900. With 88 horsepower at the crank in stock form, 4 valves per cylinder and dual overhead cams Polaris’ new 900 XP engine offered a chance to deliver something truly exceptional to the performance RZR XP 900 owner. The result is close to 150 rear wheel horsepower on pump gas.
MCX-USA will be offering two kits for the RZR XP 900, both high and low boost versions, the low boost version will not require engine work (compression reduction shimming) to install, making it the choice for customers not inclined to tinkering with their motor. The high boost kit is available now, release date for the low boost kit is coming soon.
The high boost kit is designed to run on premium pump gas at 11 pounds of boost. Extra fuel is delivered by a pair of injectors and MCX-USA proprietary EFI control module. Stock compression is lowered by the installation of a head shim. The intake is designed with an easy to maintain canister-style filter. The kit comes complete with clutching to handle the increase in power.
