Originally published January 15, 2014. Vision X Lighting introduced a new generation of its compact 2-inch Solo Pod LED light with updated LED technology, revised optics and four available beam patterns.
The updated light retained the Solo Pod’s die-cast aluminum housing and adjustable mounting system while increasing effective output to a claimed 540 lumens—30 percent more than the preceding version.
Its small housing and low power consumption made the Solo Pod suitable for UTV and ATV lighting, backup lights, fog-light installations and other applications where space and electrical capacity were limited.

The Omni-Link system allowed multiple lights to be connected into larger lighting configurations. Vision X also offered handle, handlebar and helmet mounts along with portable battery options.
Solo Pods Remain Available
The four model numbers introduced in 2014 remain listed in Vision X’s current Solstice Series LED lighting collection. Current specifications, pricing and availability should be confirmed directly with Vision X.
