Custom 2009 Polaris RANGER HD Built for PRC Ranger Club

PRC Ranger Club Rally Director Neal Hanger transformed a 2009 Polaris RANGER HD into a highly customized show vehicle designed to promote the club and showcase products from its sponsors.

Built in Ohio, the RANGER HD stands out with its custom orange and copper paint. PRC members selected the color through a poll on the club’s forum. Gold and copper metallic flakes were added to the clear coat, giving the bodywork a deeper finish that becomes especially noticeable in direct sunlight.

A Polaris RANGER HD Built to Be Seen

This project was created for dealer events, parades and other public appearances where PRC Ranger Club could connect with Polaris RANGER owners. It also gave the club an opportunity to display the accessories and custom components supplied by its supporting sponsors.

The finished RANGER HD made its public debut at the 2010 Polaris dealer show, held in Minnesota during July 2009.

Although its appearance attracts the most immediate attention, the build also includes several functional upgrades. An onboard air compressor automatically shuts off at 200 psi and supplies enough pressure to help seat tire beads and operate the vehicle’s dual air horns.
