Prairie City SVRA – September 2013
Spent the morning at Prairie City SVRA testing the XP 1000 on the VORRA short course track and also testing the Tire Blocks run flat system. The Tire Blocks are mounted inside all four of our GBC Mongrel tires that are mounted on HiPer Racing beadlock wheels. In the images above, the driver’s rear tire has no air in it! We put about 10 miles in on the short course track. As you can see, while we weren’t running at full race speed, we weren’t holding much back either.
Rubicon Trail – August 2013
First trip in the rocks with the new RZR XP 1000. We did a day trip on the Rubicon to test it out. The RZR is stock other than PURE Polaris tire carrier, HWM skid plate, a-arm guards, bumpers and rocker protection. Plus we added our 30″ GBC Kanati Mongrels mounted up on HiPer dual beadlocks with Tire Blocks inside. Very impressed with how well the XP 1000 did in the rocks.
