Polaris introduced the 2013 RZR S 800 EPS Sunset Red Limited Edition in February 2013. Unlike the other nationally announced 2013 RZR S 800 Limited Editions, this version was offered only in selected southern states.
The regional model combined Electronic Power Steering, premium suspension components and several practical accessories with exclusive Sunset Red bodywork. Its original suggested retail price was $15,999.

Regional Availability
Polaris limited availability of the Sunset Red edition to dealers in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
The unusual regional release distinguished this machine from the Blue Fire/Orange and Orange/White Limited Editions announced with the main 2013 lineup.
Based on the RZR S 800 Platform
The Sunset Red Limited Edition retained the established RZR S 800 platform, including its liquid-cooled 760cc twin-cylinder EFI engine, automatic PVT transmission and On-Demand True AWD system.
At approximately 60.5 inches wide, the RZR S provided more stability and suspension travel than the original 50-inch RZR 800. Its dual-A-arm suspension delivered approximately 12 inches of wheel travel, while the FOX Podium X shocks offered adjustable damping and better resistance to heat-related fade during demanding recreational riding.
The wider chassis made the RZR S particularly well suited to dunes, desert terrain and wider recreational trails, although it was too wide for designated 50-inch ATV routes.
Where the Sunset Red Edition Fits in RZR History
The Sunset Red model arrived near the end of the original RZR S 800 generation. By 2013, the faster RZR XP 900 had become Polaris’ flagship performance machine, but the RZR S 800 remained a more compact and approachable option for recreational riders.
