The KC HiLiTES 6-inch Pro-Sport Gravity LED Pair Pack brought the company’s Gravity Reflective Diode technology to a compact, complete auxiliary-lighting system. Offered with either spot or spread beam patterns, the kit included two 20-watt LED lights, protective stone guards, adjustable mounts, a switch and a plug-and-play wiring harness.
Introduced in 2014, the Pro-Sport Gravity LED was designed for off-road vehicles requiring more nighttime visibility without the size or electrical demand of a larger light bar. Its round Polymax outer housing also gave the light the traditional appearance associated with KC auxiliary lights.
KC Pro-Sport Gravity LED Pair Pack Options
KC offered the two-light system in two beam configurations:
- Part No. 643: Spot beam pair pack for concentrated, longer-range lighting
- Part No. 644: Spread beam pair pack for a wider field of illumination
The spot configuration was intended for projecting light farther down a trail or open desert route. The spread beam sacrificed some long-range intensity to illuminate a broader area in front of the vehicle.
Gravity Reflective Diode Technology
At the center of the Pro-Sport design was KC’s patented Gravity Reflective Diode, or GRD, technology. Rather than directing the LEDs straight through the front lens, the system paired the light sources with precision-machined reflector optics.
This arrangement allowed KC to shape the light into controlled spot or spread patterns while retaining the efficiency, durability and relatively low power consumption of LED lighting.

Because the lights accepted a wide 9- to 32-volt input range, the system could be adapted to many 12-volt UTVs, trucks, Jeeps and other off-road vehicles. Installation on a UTV still required a suitable mounting location and enough charging-system capacity for the combined 40-watt load.
A Predecessor to KC’s Pro6 Lighting Systems
The 6-inch Pro-Sport helped establish the Gravity LED technology that KC subsequently used in more elaborate off-road lighting products. The company later expanded the concept with its modular KC Pro6 LED light bar.
