Anaheim, Calif. – April 25, 2013 – After a rough start to the 2013 WORCS season, RJ Anderson navigated the extra long two-lap course at Sand Hollow in his Holz Racing Polaris RZR 900 XP. Anderson tore through the rough and sandy track on a set of GBC Dirt Commanders, winning by almost 30 seconds after completing two 13-mile laps. The victory pushed Anderson up to 11th in the SXS Pro standings, but it will be a tough uphill climb the rest of the season as Anderson chases leaders.
GBC’s James Hill rounded out the top 5 with a solid performance in his Can-Am Maverick and sits in 3rd place in the SXS Pro standings.
The young standout Mitch Guthrie Jr. has been dominant this season in the SXS 1000 class and was aiming for his 4th consecutive victory in Utah. Guthrie had a tough day after hitting hard on a jump, but managed to finish 4th despite fracturing his left hand.
Cody Mitchell led the way for GBC ATV racers by winning the Prod A class for the first time this season. His second podium finish thus far, Mitchell is in second in the class standings. Cody finished 9th in the Pro-Am race. Fellow GBC rider Brian Sirevaag finished 4th in Prod A and 7th in the Pro-Am class. Sirevaag sits at 6th in the competitive Pro-Am class.
