Camp RZR 2017 brought Polaris RZR owners and the off-road industry to Glamis for Halloween weekend. Camp RZR West returned for its sixth year, helping kick off Southern California’s dune-riding season with demos, vendors, giveaways and plenty of time in the sand.
Polaris offered hundreds of thousands of dollars in prizes, including the chance to win one of ten RZRs. Meanwhile, the event gave us a chance to drive the new four-seat DYNAMIX model and catch up with shops running their latest builds.

Vendor Area and Polaris Demo Rides
The vendor area brought the UTV industry into one place. Between dune rides, visitors could check out vehicles, parts and accessories, then try Polaris off-road vehicles on the demo course.
The RZR XP Turbo DYNAMIX Edition was part of the demo fleet. Our clip below shows the machines returning to camp.

2018 RZR XP 4 Turbo DYNAMIX Debut
On Friday, Polaris announced the 2018 Polaris RZR XP 4 Turbo DYNAMIX Edition. Then, on Saturday morning, we joined our friend David from RZR Life and took the new four-seater out for a spin.
The launch extended DYNAMIX Active Suspension to a four-seat RZR. For background on the original system and our first test, read our Polaris DYNAMIX Active Suspension review.
RZR Owner Service and Event Videos
Meanwhile, the Camp RZR service tent stayed busy throughout the weekend. Owners could have recall work completed on-site at no charge. The crew also handled other service items to help riders get back into the dunes.

Custom UTV Builds Out in the Glamis Dunes
Outside the event area, we caught up with builds from Boondocker, GMZ Race Products, Shock Therapy, XTC Power Products and HCR Racing. Seeing these vehicles in the sand was a highlight of the weekend. It is always fun to catch up with new builds while their owners put them to use.
