The Assault Industries On-The-Go Tool Kit remains available from Assault Industries. Designed for UTV riders who want commonly used metric tools in one portable package, the current version is listed as a 62-piece kit (SKU TOOL-U-001). Its organized nylon pouch can be carried or secured inside a vehicle to help keep the tools from rattling on the trail.
What Is in the Assault Industries Tool Kit?
The kit brings together three drive sizes, metric sockets and combination wrenches, Torx and hex keys, screwdrivers, pliers, a hammer and an adjustable wrench. The 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch ratchets use 90-tooth mechanisms, which allow a short swing in tight spaces. Assault Industries also includes spark-plug sockets, extensions and a 12-inch flex handle.
- 1/4-inch drive: 90-tooth ratchet; 8, 9, 10 and 13 mm sockets; extension; T30 and T40 Torx bits.
- 3/8-inch drive: 90-tooth ratchet; sockets from 8 to 18 mm in the sizes listed by Assault Industries; extension; 5/8-inch and 13/16-inch spark-plug sockets.
- 1/2-inch drive: Flex handle, extension, and 17 and 19 mm sockets.
- Hand tools: Metric combination wrenches, long-arm metric hex and Torx key sets, slotted and Phillips screwdrivers, long-nose and locking pliers, an adjustable wrench and a 24-ounce ball-peen hammer.
Storage for the Trail
The woven nylon pouch has dedicated spaces for the tools, a socket pocket, hook-and-loop flaps, clasps and a carrying handle. Assault Industries describes it as mountable and designed to reduce tool noise inside a UTV. Check the pouch dimensions and choose a secure mounting location that does not interfere with passengers, controls or cargo before heading out.
Because this is a general-purpose metric kit, compare its contents with the fasteners and service needs of your specific UTV. A spare belt, tire repair supplies and model-specific tools may still be needed for longer rides.
