Arctic Cat Wildcat Buildup
Turbocharged Arctic Cat Wildcat
We have taken our 2012 to the next level with this build. Increasing power with a turbo setup from MCX-USA. Fine tuning the suspension with new top-of-the-line FOX shocks. Brand new 14″ single beadlock Sindwinder wheels from HiPer Racing and STU sand tires from Fullerton Sand Sports. Super sharp custom full wrap from ProLineWraps. LED headlights from Vision X help us see through the dunes on those night runs and great color-matched seats from Beard.
This Wildcat has the power to match the incredible suspension and was built to take on the dunes like a sand car.
This car is for sale – contact jon@utvguide.net for details.

Sand Mountain – June 2014
We brought our Wildcat out to Sand Mountain after havingEmpire Industries do some clutch adjustments and fuel tuning. She runs even better now. Very impressed with the work that Eric @ Empire Industries did.

Prairie City SVRA – July 2013
We swapped out our sand tires and wheels for a set ofGMZ Cut Throat tires mounted on GMZ LiteLoc Beadlock Wheels and headed to the track to see how the Wildcat performed. The tires are 28x10R14 all-around so they are taller than stock. They add a little ground clearance which is nice on rough courses. The tread compound is very soft and the tires have a great profile making high speed cornering very predictable.
FOX shocks were very plush, but also soaked up the jumps and g-outs without bottoming out. The car has a bit more body roll than we prefer, but that is very similar to stock. Probably needs a stiffer sway bar, but we may adjust the cross-overs on the rear shocks so the stiffer rate will engage a little earlier.
Sand Mountain – July 2013
First time out with the Wildcat since upgrading with turbo, cage, shocks, etc. We headed to Sand Mountain for the day. The temperatures were over 100 degrees and the dunes were smooth and ridges were sharp. Wildcat ran without a hitch. Might need a little clutch tuning.
