Camp RZR West 2014
By Jon Crowley Camp RZR rolled into Glamis, in southwest California over Halloween weekend and was met with an overwhelmingly positive response with thousands of people attending. Camp RZR West provided attendees with entertainment, giveaways, vendors, a kids zone and Polaris staff on hand to answer questions.
The fenced-off camp hosted machine walk-arounds, a full-fledged mobile Polaris repair shop, and an enormous LED screen showing some of the hit UTV videos produced this year. Polaris even invited pro racers, executives, and celebrities to race a fleet of stockRZR 170s around a custom-built track. After the dust settled, it was Travis Pastrana pulls off a win. Kids enjoyed trick-or-treating, bounce houses, arts and crafts, and plenty of games, showing that Polaris is just as dedicated to family fun as they are to racing. Polaris also offered up free demo rides in theRZR XP 1000,RZR XP 4 1000 and RZR S 900. Polaris dedicated the entire Camp RZR event to their consumers and fans, showing just how appreciative the company is of their fan base. Free repairs were again offered to anyone who owned a Polaris product.
Polaris gave away a brand new customized Polaris RZR XP 1000 at the event as well. Joe F. from San Diego, California was handed the keys to the XP 1000, topping off a customer appreciation event that put a smile on everyones face.
If you missed the Camp RZR event this Halloween, dont worry, I am sure Polaris will keep them rolling. A brand new Havasu Red RZR XP 1000 was delivered to TMW Off-Road about a month ago. They build a Venom cage, added doors, Cognito Motorsports long travel, FOX IBP shocks, Rigid Industries LED lights, Triple X Seats, and finished it off with a beautiful wrap from Wolf Designs. We then slapped a set of HiPer Fusion beadlock wheels wrapped in STU tires from Fullerton Sand Sports. The car exceeded my expectations and I can wait to get back out with it.
