The 2017 UTV Takover Summerfest runs June 14 – 18, 2017 at the Coos Bay dunes in the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. Event headquarters are at the Boxcar Hill Campground and there are many free activities.

The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is located on the Oregon Coast, stretching approximately 40 miles north from the Coos River in North Bend, to the Siuslaw River, in Florence. The southernmost OHV area in the Oregon Dunes is often known as Coos Bay and extends from Spinreel in the north to Horsfall in the south.
Designated OHV routes lead riders through coastal forests and open dunes to the beach and this riding area can be accessed from Spinreel, Riley Ranch, Hauser, Horsfall and Boxcar Campground.
Directions to UTV Takeover – From North Bend drive 2 miles north on Highway 101 turning west onto Transpacific Lane. Then drive west less than a mile to Boxcar Hill Campground.
UTV TAKEOVER registration is different than any other event on the West Coast. All UTV Takeover events are FREE to the public thanks to sponsors and partners. This includes all scheduled activities, concerts, vendor row, food court, group campfires, group rides, night rides, huckfest, treasure hunt,s mini games, drag racing and short course. Swing by the UTV Takeover EVENT TENT located in the Boxcar Hill Campground to sign a waiver and to receive your FREE event wrist band. This helps us keep insurance cost down and keeps the event FREE for everyone to enjoy. Once you have your wrist band you are free to enjoy everything that UTV TAKEOVER has to offer.
There is Day-Use Parking available across from Boxcar Hill Campground. Drive west on Trans Pacific Lane across railroad tracks and volunteers will guide to you parking. There is limited area, so first come, first served.
