The SSV Works KX-PS10 is a vehicle-specific 10-inch subwoofer enclosure designed to add deeper bass to the Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000 without cutting or permanently modifying the vehicle.
Introduced in March 2022, the enclosure mounts behind the passenger seat and was offered either loaded with a Kicker CompRT subwoofer or unloaded for owners who wanted to supply their own compatible 10-inch subwoofer.
Vehicle-Specific Kawasaki KRX 1000 Installation
Rather than adapting a universal subwoofer box to the vehicle, SSV Works designed the roto-molded KX-PS10 specifically for the Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000. The enclosure bolts into position behind the passenger seat using the included mounting hardware, with no cutting required.
The vehicle-specific design also provides the internal air volume needed for a 10-inch subwoofer while using otherwise limited space inside the KRX 1000 cockpit.

SSV Works developed the enclosure for off-road conditions where audio components can be exposed to vibration, dust, mud, water and changing weather. Its molded construction is intended to be more durable in those environments than a conventional automotive-style wood enclosure.

Original 2022 Launch Pricing
When SSV Works announced the KX-PS10 in 2022, the loaded KX-PS10K carried an MSRP of $619.99. The unloaded KX-PS10U was introduced with an MSRP of $429.99. Current pricing, availability and vehicle-year compatibility may differ from the original announcement.
The enclosure was initially promoted for the two-seat Kawasaki Teryx KRX 1000. Owners should confirm fitment before ordering, particularly for later models or the four-seat KRX 4 1000.
Adding Audio to a Kawasaki KRX 1000
A dedicated subwoofer can fill out the low-frequency output that smaller dash or cage-mounted speakers often struggle to reproduce in an open UTV. The KX-PS10 is especially useful for a more complete KRX audio build because it provides a secure, space-efficient mounting solution instead of requiring a custom enclosure.
As with any UTV audio installation, the amplifier, wiring and electrical demands should be matched to the selected subwoofer. The loaded enclosure includes the Kicker subwoofer, but the rest of the system configuration will determine its available output and overall sound quality.
