PRP 50/50 Front Bench for Polaris RZR XP 1000

Front Bench for the Polaris RZR XP 1000

PRP Seats introduced its first front suspension bench for the Polaris RZR XP 1000 in 2014. The two-piece GT 50/50 Front Bench provided the continuous appearance and additional seating room of a bench while preserving access to important service areas beneath the seats.

The design allowed a two-seat RZR XP 1000 to accommodate three occupants or a four-seat RZR XP 4 1000 to carry up to five, subject to the vehicle’s seating configuration and properly installed occupant restraints.

Two-Piece Front Bench Design

Although it looked like a conventional bench, the PRP GT 50/50 used independently removable driver- and passenger-side sections. This made it easier to access the battery, perform an oil change or reach other components located beneath the seats.

Large harness openings accommodated multipoint restraints, while PRP’s quick-release system simplified removal of each seat section. The suspension-seat construction was designed to improve comfort and occupant containment compared with the original molded seats.

PRP GT 50/50 Front Bench Features

  • Two-piece suspension bench-seat construction
  • Additional room for a center occupant
  • Independently removable driver and passenger sections
  • Access to the battery and engine-service areas
  • Large openings for properly installed harnesses
  • Quick-release seat removal
  • Multiple upholstery, fabric and color combinations

At launch, PRP also offered versions of the GT 50/50 bench for several earlier Polaris RZR platforms, including the RZR 570, 800 and 900.

The PRP 50/50 Bench Today

PRP later updated the concept as the GT/S.E. 50/50 Front Suspension Bench, adding revised styling and larger harness openings. The design continues to serve owners who want additional seating space without giving up the comfort and containment of an aftermarket suspension seat.

Fitment varies by RZR generation, model and year. The original bench was developed around the earlier RZR XP 1000 platform and should not be assumed to fit newer machines such as the current-generation RZR XP or RZR Pro series. Verify the exact vehicle application, seat mounts, harness arrangement and roll-cage configuration before ordering.
