My wife Teresa and I love to travel, and we concocted a plan to get out and explore the country. We packed up the truck and loaded our Can-Am Maverick X3 on the back and headed out April 15, 2021 for a month.
Before we left, we created a Facebook Group to capture our adventures: Jon & Teresa’s Epic Adventures.
Our farthest east destination was West Virginia and we traveled through the following states:
California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Virgina, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Colorado.
We also visited these National Parks along the way:
Zion, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest, Saguaro, White Sands, Guadalupe Mountain, Carlsbad Caverns, Hot Spring, Great Smoky Mountains, Gateway Arch National Park, Great Sand Dunes, Mesa Verde, Arches and Canyonlands.
Our off-road destinations included:
- Sand Hollow, Utah
- Toroweap, Grand Canyon National Park
- Little Sahara, OK
- Mount Magazine, AR
- Windrock Park, TN
- Hatfield McCoy Trails, WV
- Syracuse Sand Dunes, KS
- Moab, UT for Rally on the Rocks.
This trip is made possible with the help of Can-Am Off-Road, Rugged Radios, SSV Works and System 3 Offroad.
