The 2024 SxS Adventure Rally marked the event’s 10th year with guided UTV rides around Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah. Rock crawling took center stage. However, the family-friendly rally also offered less technical scenic rides.

Guided UTV Rides at Sand Hollow
Rally trails included Double Sammy, Triple 7, The Maze, West Rim and Plan B. Together, these routes highlighted the variety of riding around Sand Hollow. For a closer look, explore our guide to The Maze.
Sand Hollow also gives us a place to test UTVs on technical terrain. For example, we took our Can-Am Commander XT-P on Double Sammy during an earlier SxS Adventure Rally.
Sand Mountain OHV Area
Adjacent to Sand Hollow State Park, the Sand Mountain OHV Area combines sand dunes, sandstone and technical trails. As a result, riders can explore very different terrain in one destination.
From Sand Mountain, views stretch toward St. George, the Hurricane Cliffs and the Pine Valley Mountains. Meanwhile, the surrounding red rock scenery makes this corner of southern Utah a memorable place to ride.
