WINTER WEATHER FREEZES TEXPLEX PARK RACES

TexPlex
Midlothian, TX – Historical winter weather in North Texas has forced the team at TexPlex Park to reschedule the first round of their SxS UTV race series.
Round 1 will now be held on March 6, 2021. Round 2 will remain on March 13, 2021. The correlating motocross races will remain on their regularly scheduled dates. The MC Round 1 will still be this Sunday, February 21, 2021 and MC Round 2 will be Sunday, March 14, 2021.
TexPlex Race Coordinator, Brian Adkison said, “This is the best schedule to have to not conflict with other fellow race series out there. This difficult decision was made for everyone’s safety.”
TexPlex Park expects record breaking crowds for these weekends and encourages participants to call ahead for reservations and make proper adjustments to their schedules. To accommodate the change in schedule, TexPlex is offering free storage and half-price electrical hook-up for RVs Monday, March 8th through Thursday, March 11, 2021.
TexPlex Park is home to the largest UTV race series in the country with a record number of over 200 racers participating in the 2020 series.
The 2021 series is expected to exceed last year’s turnout. While the weather during the week leading up to the 19th is not conducive to kicking-off the park’s largest SxS race series event, TexPlex will be open the weekend of February 19-21.
TexPlex will still hold Open Prepped Practices, Round 1 MC race series, and is open to the public. Prepped Practice Races
with the Miller Brothers will be held the weekend of February 26th .
