The 2022 eBay Motors Sand Sports Super Show brought hundreds of exhibitors to the OC Fair & Event Center in Costa Mesa, California. During the three-day event, attendees could see new UTV parts, accessories and vehicle builds while speaking directly with many of the companies behind them.
The show featured everything from paddle tires and suspension systems to audio equipment, turbo kits and complete custom vehicles. These eight products were among the most interesting items we found while walking the 2022 show.
Assault Industries Hellfire InnerLock UTV Wheel
The Hellfire wheel introduced Assault Industries’ InnerLock design, which secures the tire bead without placing traditional beadlock bolts around the outer edge of the wheel. Moving the retention hardware inside helps protect it from rocks and other trail hazards that could damage exposed beadlock bolts.
The locks are installed after the tire bead is seated. Assault Industries also supplies replacement O-rings for the system. Because installation differs from a conventional wheel or external beadlock, professional tire installation may be helpful.
At its 2022 introduction, the Hellfire was offered in black and graphite finishes, 15×7- and 15×10-inch sizes, and 4×156 and 4×137 bolt patterns. The 15×7 wheel was listed at approximately 16.3 pounds.

PRP XCR Suspension Seat
The PRP XCR Suspension Seat built on the company’s XC design with a removable bottom cushion, two separated harness slots and provisions for a fifth-point crotch strap.
The less aggressive side bolsters make getting into and out of the vehicle easier while providing more room around the shoulders. Separating the shoulder-belt slots helps keep harness straps properly positioned without requiring a sternum strap.
The removable cushion simplifies cleaning and allows the seat’s suspension liner to operate independently of the upholstery covering the seat base. PRP manufactures its suspension seats in the United States and offers numerous upholstery and color combinations.
Rugged Radios STX Stereo Intercom
Rugged Radios introduced the STX at the 2022 show as a stereo-focused evolution of its 696-series intercom. Unlike traditional mono intercoms, the STX delivers true stereo music and provides an EQ app for adjusting the sound.
Its Isolation Mode separates front- and rear-seat audio, allowing the occupants in the front of the UTV to temporarily isolate their conversation and music from the rear passengers. With Isolation Mode turned off, the system provides voice-activated communication between everyone in the vehicle.

HCR Sportline Suspension
HCR displayed its Sportline suspension as a more affordable alternative to the company’s premium long-travel components. The Sportline parts used mild-steel construction and MIG welding to reduce manufacturing costs while retaining HCR’s suspension geometry and structural design experience.
The system was designed as a bolt-on upgrade compatible with the vehicle’s factory shocks. Its high-clearance arm design provided approximately 1.5 inches of additional ground clearance.
At the time of the show, Sportline applications were offered for the Polaris RZR Turbo S, Polaris RZR Pro XP and Can-Am Maverick X3 X rs. The original Sportline landing page is no longer active, so readers should consult HCR Racing’s current suspension catalog for available vehicle applications.
SSV Works Phase EQ
SSV Works unveiled the Phase EQ amplifier at the show with selectable Ride and Rock sound profiles. Ride Mode directs and tunes the audio for occupants inside the UTV while helping compensate for engine and driving noise. Rock Mode projects the sound outward when the vehicle is parked at camp.
The amplifier carries an IP66 rating to help protect it from dust and powerful water spray—an important distinction for audio equipment installed in an open off-road vehicle.

System 3 Off-Road XC450 Tire
Introduced in 2022 and initially shown at the King of the Hammers, the System 3 XC450 was designed as a versatile crossover tire for hardpack, rocks and loose terrain.
Its closely spaced center blocks help create a smoother ride on firm surfaces, while the more open shoulder lugs provide additional traction in loose and rocky conditions. The 10-ply-rated carcass and deep rim guard add protection for demanding trail use.
Depending on the portion of the tread being measured, tread depth ranges from approximately 0.70 to 0.85 inches.

FOX ECS2 Shock Cooler from Shock Therapy
The FOX ECS2, or External Cooling System 2, was developed to control shock-oil temperatures during racing and extended high-speed driving. As a shock heats up, its oil becomes less viscous. That change can reduce damping force and cause the suspension’s performance to fade.
The ECS2 functions as a heat exchanger, circulating the shock oil through an aluminum cooler with internal and external fins. By dissipating heat, the system is intended to keep damping performance more consistent over an extended period.

TMW Off-Road Gen 2 Can-Am X3 Winch Bumper
TMW Off-Road updated its Can-Am Maverick X3 winch bumper with support for the WARN AXON 55-S winch. The design adds a useful recovery point and winch mount while retaining a slim profile that fits closely against the front of the X3.
That tight packaging helps preserve the vehicle’s approach angle and avoids the bulky appearance of some traditional winch bumpers.
