UTV Offroad Adventures proudly hosted the first-ever Wickenburg to Parker Overnighter, a  two-day, 300+ mile round trip showcasing Arizona’s rugged beauty, rich history, and thrilling  off-road trails. Starting at the historic Flying E Ranch in Wickenburg, participants experienced  scenic routes, iconic landmarks, and unforgettable camaraderie.

Friday Night: A Warm Welcome at the Flying E Ranch

The adventure began Friday evening at the Flying E Ranch, a working cattle ranch with Western  charm just outside downtown Wickenburg, AZ—a town renowned as the “Team Roping Capital  of the World.” Guests enjoyed lodging or camping at the ranch, while others stayed in nearby  hotels.

The evening featured a meet-and-greet, where participants collected swag bags, event t-shirts,  and driver details. A crackling fire kept the group warm on a chilly night as they played quick-draw poker, mingled, and prepared for the journey ahead.

Saturday: Wickenburg to Parker

Leaving Flying E Ranch

  • Wickenburg Massacre Site: The first stop of the day brought riders to the site of  the Wickenburg Massacre, a somber piece of Arizona’s history. In 1871, an ambush  claimed the lives of six travelers. The group paused to reflect on this tragic event and its  place in the region’s history.
  • Wayside for Lunch and Fuel: The group continued on rugged trails to Wayside, a popular  desert stop near Alamo Lake. Here, participants refueled, enjoyed lunch, and stretched  their legs in the peaceful surroundings.
  • Trail to Parker: After the break, riders tackled a mix of challenging terrain, including  rocky trails, sandy washes, and sweeping desert vistas. This stretch of the journey led  through La Paz County, a stunning region known for its vast, remote desert landscapes and off-roading trails. The group enjoyed navigating through La Paz’s varied terrain—dusty roads, rugged washes, and desert vistas—making for an unforgettable adventure as  they made their way toward Parker.
