Vikki Golden: Defying Odds and Shattering Stereotypes in “Tough Doesn’t Quit”

Vikki Golden

The latest episode of the Tough Doesn’t Quit series from Polaris Off Road, featuring the remarkable Vikki Golden— a true pioneer for women in motorsports.

Vikki is making waves in the motorsports world as one of the most accomplished and influential women in off-road racing. As an AMA Supercross and X-Games medalist, Vikki has proven that tough doesn’t just apply to the track — it’s a mindset she carries into every aspect of her career.

Vikki’s story is one of perseverance, grit, and breaking barriers in a male-dominated sport. She made history as the first woman to qualify for an AMA Arenacross main event and became the first female member of Metal Mulisha — both groundbreaking achievements that opened doors for future generations of female athletes in motocross and beyond.

Throughout her career, Vikki has shown what it means to embody the Tough Doesn’t Quit mindset, facing and overcoming significant obstacles along the way. Despite suffering serious injuries, including tearing her ACL and MCL in 2011, and racing with no ACL, MCL, or meniscus in her left knee, Vikki has never let these challenges hold her back. Instead, she continues to push the limits of what’s possible, both on the track and off, paving the way for other women in racing.
