This model has been rigorously tested and survived what would have destroyed OEM SmartLok components. The TL-SM224 TORQ Locker has its own case and ships mostly assembled. Simply pull the drivers side cover off the differential, pull the case, swap the ring gear onto the TL-SM224, swap shims and reinstall.
