Mesquite to Caliente UTV Adventure Ride – Hosted by UTV Offroad Adventures
An unforgettable 3-day, 2-night UTV ride through some of Nevada’s most dramatic and diverse terrain. We started in the vibrant desert city of Mesquite, Nevada, this guided adventure took us deep into canyons, across desert flats, over colorful mesas, and through cool pine forests as you rode toward the historic town of Caliente. We spent two nights in Caliente at the Shady Motel.
Day 1 we left the Casa Blanca Resort and went up Policemans’ Wash. Made our way up the border of Nevada and Arizona before stopping at the Tri-State Monument.
Day 2 we ventured over to the historic mining town of Pioche and on the way we were treated by several groups of wild horses. We visited Boot HIll Cemetery and saw the mining tramway and the Million Dollar Courthouse. Then looped back to Caliente on a different route.
Day 3 we made our way back to Mesquite, and on the way stopped at the Ella Mountain FIre Lookout at over 7,300 feet with an incredible 360 degree view!
This route was packed with trail variety — from high-speed desert washes to tight canyon trails and rugged mountain passes. Lots of varied terrain, scenery and history.
We took our Yamaha RMAX4 on this trip, and with our new UTV Pro’s rear seat storage racks we had plenty of space for all of our gear. More details on our RMAX4 at the end of the vehicle.
