Shock Therapy expanded its truck suspension work in May 2024 by announcing shock service for the first-generation Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. The launch gave 2010–2014 Raptor owners a way to bring their trucks to the company’s Phoenix, Arizona, or Charlotte-area, North Carolina, shop for suspension work.
What the original Gen 1 Raptor service included
At launch, Shock Therapy described a service that combined shock rebuilding with its proprietary valving for the Gen 1 Raptor. The work included fresh shock oil, a nitrogen recharge, new seals and O-rings, and inspection for damaged components. The shop said it would seek the owner’s approval before completing additional repairs.
The 2024 announcement quoted $250 per shock plus $250 to remove and reinstall a set of four on the vehicle, or $1,250 total. That was the launch price, not a current quote. At the time, this was the first truck model Shock Therapy said it would accept as a complete vehicle for this service; previously, customers removed their FOX truck shocks before dropping them off or shipping them in.
Current Ford Raptor shock rebuild options
Shock Therapy’s current Ford shock rebuild listing covers the Gen 1 F-150 SVT Raptor as well as later F-150 Raptors and other Ford trucks. It lists disassembly, cleaning, inspection, fresh oil, nitrogen, seals and O-rings at $250 per shock, or $1,000 for four. Extra damaged parts require approval before repair. The listing also states that shocks must be removed before drop-off or shipment and that removal and installation are not included in that price.
Shock Therapy has a separate truck shock service page that describes full-vehicle shop appointments for other eligible FOX and King applications. Because the current Ford rebuild listing does not include removal and installation, Gen 1 Raptor owners should confirm vehicle drop-off, labor, valving availability, and the complete price directly with the shop before scheduling.
