The 2025 Polaris RZR Pro R Race Replica Limited Edition brought the look of Polaris Factory Racing’s championship-winning desert race program to a production side-by-side. Finished in Cayden MacCachren’s distinctive Podium Purple race livery, the special-edition RZR combined the performance and technology of the RZR Pro R Ultimate with Method wheels, BFGoodrich tires, RIGID lighting, upgraded Rockford Fosgate audio and several race-inspired details.
Polaris limited worldwide production to just 250 vehicles, split between two- and four-seat configurations. Pricing started at $45,999 for the RZR Pro R Race Replica and $49,999 for the four-seat RZR Pro R 4 Race Replica.
Inspired by the Polaris Factory Racing Program
Polaris introduced the Race Replica after a highly successful stretch for its factory-backed desert racing program. The purpose-built Gen 2 RZR Pro R Factory race UTV followed a championship-winning 2023 season and helped demonstrate the durability of many components derived from the production RZR Pro R platform.
The Race Replica’s Podium Purple graphics were inspired by Cayden MacCachren’s factory race vehicle and celebrated his victory at the 2023 SCORE Baja 1000. Polaris also incorporated several parts or component designs used by the factory racing team, including Method Race Wheels and a RIGID rear chase light.
Despite its competition-inspired appearance, the Race Replica remained a production recreational UTV rather than a street-legal version of the dedicated factory race car. Underneath the graphics and accessories was the top-level 2025 Polaris RZR Pro R Ultimate, powered by the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter ProStar Fury four-cylinder engine producing 225 horsepower.

Only 250 examples of the 2025 Polaris RZR Pro R Race Replica Limited Edition were offered worldwide.
2025 RZR Pro R Ultimate Foundation
The Race Replica was based on the 2025 RZR Pro R Ultimate rather than a stripped-down competition model. That gave it the Pro R’s 74-inch-wide chassis, 225-horsepower engine and DYNAMIX DV semi-active suspension, along with the comfort and technology expected from Polaris’ top trim.
For 2025, the RZR Pro R received refreshed styling with animated RZR fang lighting, revised fresh-air intakes, radiator deflectors and improvements to the dashboard and interior storage. The Ultimate trim also introduced heated and ventilated seats, allowing the Race Replica to combine aggressive desert-racing style with features intended for recreational riding.
RZR Pro R Race Replica Upgrades
Polaris Factory Racing Livery
The most recognizable feature was its Podium Purple Polaris Factory Racing livery. The package included a painted front fascia and center hood, graphics extending across the roof, and blacked-out suspension and ROPS components. Sponsor graphics completed the visual connection to MacCachren’s factory race UTV.
Purple Animated Fang Lighting
Polaris matched the RZR’s animated front accent lighting to the Podium Purple graphics. The illuminated fangs performed their normal start-up animation while giving the Race Replica an appearance not offered on the standard RZR Pro R Ultimate.
Polaris Front and Rear Bumpers
Polaris-engineered front and rear bumpers added protection and complemented the race-inspired styling. While the Race Replica did not receive the one-piece chromoly chassis or full safety cage of the dedicated Pro R Factory race vehicle, the bumpers gave the production model a more purposeful desert-racing appearance.
32-Inch RIGID Light Bar
A roof-mounted 32-inch RIGID LED light bar provided additional forward lighting for night riding. Polaris rated the light at 20,000 lumens with a claimed beam distance of up to 3,077 feet. It also featured a scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens suited to dusty and abrasive off-road conditions.
RIGID Rear Chase Light
The rear-facing RIGID chase light was based on equipment used by Polaris Factory Racing. It combined running, brake, reverse and turn-signal functions in one compact assembly, improving rear visibility during group rides and in the dust commonly encountered in desert and dune terrain.
32-Inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 Tires
Polaris replaced the standard Pro R Ultimate tires with 32-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. Their aggressive tread and reinforced sidewall construction were designed to provide traction and durability in loose soil, mud and rocky terrain.
The KM3 was a notable choice for a desert-racing-themed model. It gave the Race Replica a proven all-terrain package without increasing tire diameter beyond the Pro R’s standard 32-inch size.
15-Inch Method 407 Bead Grip Wheels
The BFGoodrich tires were mounted on 15-inch Method Race Wheels 407 Bead Grip wheels. Method’s Bead Grip design uses grooves and safety humps around the bead seat to help retain the tire at reduced air pressures without employing a conventional external beadlock ring.
These wheels strengthened the Race Replica’s connection to the factory program because Polaris Factory Racing also used Method wheels on its Pro R race vehicles.
Rockford Fosgate Stage 6 Audio
The Race Replica upgraded the RZR Pro R Ultimate’s Stage 4 audio system to a Rockford Fosgate Stage 6 package. The system added front door speakers, a bass-control knob and a 12-inch, 400-watt subwoofer for substantially greater output than the standard audio package.

Price and Availability
The 2025 RZR Pro R Race Replica began shipping to Polaris dealers in November 2024. Its original MSRP was $45,999 for the two-seat model and $49,999 for the four-seat version.
With only 250 produced worldwide, availability was much more limited than a conventional RZR trim. Its appeal was centered on exclusivity, the Podium Purple factory livery and the collection of premium accessories rather than a major increase in performance over the RZR Pro R Ultimate on which it was based.
What Made the Race Replica Different?
The RZR Pro R Race Replica did not transform the production Pro R into the purpose-built RZR Pro R Factory race car. Instead, it packaged several useful off-road upgrades with styling that directly celebrated Polaris’ desert racing success.
Its Method wheels, BFGoodrich KM3 tires, RIGID lighting and Stage 6 audio all added tangible value. However, the defining features were its limited production, purple animated lighting and Cayden MacCachren-inspired graphics. For buyers who wanted the most distinctive version of the 2025 RZR Pro R—and a visual connection to Polaris Factory Racing—the Race Replica occupied a unique place in the history of the Polaris RZR.
