The 2025 Polaris RZR Pro lineup introduced substantial updates across the RZR Pro R, Pro S and Pro XP platforms. Highlights included the return of RZR Fang accent lighting, redesigned interiors, improved airflow management, better-sealing doors and new seating options.
The lineup continued to offer three distinctly different performance UTVs. The 225-horsepower RZR Pro R remained the flagship for dunes and open desert, the RZR Pro S replaced the Turbo R as the wide turbocharged option, and the 64-inch RZR Pro XP targeted tighter trails and technical terrain.

What Changed for the 2025 RZR Pro Lineup?
The most visible update was the return of Polaris’ distinctive RZR Fang accent lighting. The redesigned lights use an animated sequence and give all three Pro models a stronger connection to previous generations of RZR styling.

Polaris also addressed heat and airflow inside the cockpit. New patent-pending fresh-air intakes direct outside air into the cab while the vehicle is moving. Dual hood scoops and cab radiator deflectors work together to manage airflow and reduce the amount of radiator heat reaching the occupants.

Inside, the 2025 models received a revised dash with frequently used controls positioned closer to the driver. Polaris also added more accessible storage areas and redesigned the seats with additional contouring.
New solid doors use double-latch hardware and improved seals to reduce dust, water and debris entering the cockpit. These changes are especially important for owners moving from the original Pro XP doors, which provided less coverage and sealing.

2025 Polaris RZR Pro R
The Polaris RZR Pro R remained the most powerful model in the 2025 RZR lineup. Its naturally aspirated ProStar Fury 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine produces 225 horsepower without relying on turbocharging.
The Pro R measures 74 inches wide and uses a 104.5-inch wheelbase. Its MaxLink suspension provides up to 29 inches of usable travel, making the vehicle best suited to dunes, desert and other wide-open environments where its width and suspension capability can be fully utilized.
Available DYNAMIX DV semi-active suspension continuously adjusts the shocks in response to vehicle inputs and terrain. Pro Performance True 4WD provides selectable drive modes that change how the AWD system responds to different conditions.
The Pro R also received a model-specific dual-retractor harness for 2025. The retractors mount above and behind the seat, improving how the harness retracts and making it easier to adjust the fit.
Heated and Vented Seats
The 2025 RZR Pro R Ultimate introduced heated and vented seats. Polaris described this as an industry-first factory seating feature for a side-by-side. The system can provide additional warmth during cold-weather riding or circulate air through the seat in hot conditions.
Heated and vented seats were offered on the RZR Pro R Ultimate.
The Ultimate trim also received 15-inch wheels with color-matched beadlock rings. A lower-priced Pro R Sport brought the updated styling, cockpit and airflow changes to both two- and four-seat configurations without all the equipment found on the Ultimate.

2025 Polaris RZR Pro S
2025 Polaris RZR Pro S Ultimate
The RZR Pro S was the renamed successor to the RZR Turbo R. It retained the Turbo R’s basic formula: a 181-horsepower turbocharged engine, 74-inch stance and 96-inch wheelbase.
Compared with the longer Pro R, the Pro S offers a more compact wheelbase while retaining the stability and suspension advantages of a wide platform. That combination makes it well suited to dunes, desert and faster terrain where agility is as important as straight-line stability.
The Pro S uses Polaris’ performance-oriented CVT and fast-engaging on-demand AWD system. Its drivetrain responds to changing conditions without requiring the driver to manually lock the front differential.
The 2025 Pro S also received the Pro-wide interior, airflow, door and Fang-lighting updates.

For 2025, the mid-level Pro S Premium gained a seven-inch RIDE COMMAND touchscreen and rear camera. RIDE COMMAND includes GPS navigation and group tracking that can operate without cellular service.

2025 Polaris RZR Pro XP Sport
At 64 inches wide, the RZR Pro XP remained the most trail-oriented vehicle in the Pro lineup. Its narrower stance makes it better suited to wooded trails and confined terrain than the 74-inch Pro S and Pro R.
The turbocharged twin-cylinder engine produces 181 horsepower, with power delivery focused on acceleration in the frequently used 20-to-50-mph range. A 96-inch wheelbase balances high-speed stability with maneuverability on tighter trails.
The most important mechanical change for 2025 was the adoption of the Pro S transmission. This gave the Pro XP a lower Low-range ratio for improved speed control on steep climbs and technical terrain.
The lower gearing addressed one of our primary criticisms of the original platform. During our RZR Pro XP rock-crawling test on the Rubicon Trail, we found the original Low range taller than ideal for maintaining slow, controlled progress over rocks.

The Pro R is the choice for riders who prioritize naturally aspirated power, suspension travel and high-speed stability. The Pro S provides wide-platform performance with a shorter wheelbase and turbocharged engine. The Pro XP delivers the same rated horsepower as the Pro S in a narrower package that can access tighter trails.
New Polaris RZR Accessories
Polaris introduced more than 120 new accessories alongside the updated lineup. New options included redesigned rock sliders and bumpers with six available accent colors, Rockford Fosgate Stage 1 through Stage 6 audio packages and an active bass-control knob.
GatorStep accessories included armrest pads and a roof liner. Polaris also improved its upper-door sealing, windshield options and rear-panel design to increase weather protection and cockpit comfort.
