John Deere Gator XUV875: Diesel Power

The John Deere Gator XUV875 is the diesel counterpart to the XUV845. Its 854cc liquid-cooled three-cylinder diesel produces approximately 22.8 horsepower and is aimed squarely at utility work.

While the gasoline 845 has a substantial horsepower and speed advantage, diesel remains attractive on farms and commercial properties where diesel fuel is already stored for tractors and other equipment. The diesel engine’s operating characteristics are also well suited to low-speed utility work.
