HP Tuners Expands CFMOTO UTV Tuning Support for ZFORCE Z10, UFORCE U10 and More

HP Tuners has steadily expanded its tuning and diagnostic support for CFMOTO powersports vehicles, including several ZFORCE and UFORCE side-by-sides. The latest and most significant addition for performance UTV owners is support for the turbocharged 2025–2026 CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 and Z10-4.

Rather than being limited to a basic handheld programmer, HP Tuners gives professional tuners and experienced enthusiasts access to vehicle diagnostics, data logging and custom ECM calibration through its MPVI4 interface and VCM Suite software. Remote tuning is also available for supported CFMOTO applications through the RTD4 interface and HP Tuners’ Tune Delivery Network.

The expanding coverage now includes the CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10, select UFORCE 1000 and UFORCE U10 models, older UFORCE 550 utility vehicles and several earlier ZFORCE Trail applications.

HP Tuners Adds CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 Support

In May 2026, HP Tuners announced tuning and diagnostic support for the 2025–2026 CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 and four-seat Z10-4. Both machines use CFMOTO’s turbocharged three-cylinder engine and an MG1UA008 engine control module.

According to HP Tuners, owners and professional calibration providers can access the Z10 ECM using an MPVI4 interface. Tuners can also deliver calibrations remotely through an RTD4 device and the Tune Delivery Network.

The Z10 release has several notable requirements and advantages:

Supported CFMOTO UTV and Side-by-Side Applications

HP Tuners’ CFMOTO coverage has been introduced through several separate releases. Based on the applications specifically identified in those announcements, the supported CFMOTO UTV and side-by-side models include the following:

Earlier Support for the UFORCE U10 and UFORCE 1000

HP Tuners began expanding its CFMOTO UTV coverage in April 2025. That release listed the 2017–2025 CFMOTO UFORCE 1000 and 2025 UFORCE U10 among the newly supported vehicles.

At the time of the announcement, the required setup included an MPVI3 interface, two Universal Credits per ECM and VCM Suite Beta 5.1.3983 or newer. The company listed several potential uses for its tuning and diagnostic system, including:

• Custom ECM calibration
• Throttle-response adjustments
• Engine data logging
• Diagnostic code scanning
• Monitoring engine operating data
• Map switching on compatible applications

HP Tuners also identified potential changes to boost and engine efficiency, although the available tables and functions will depend on the particular vehicle, ECM and calibration definition.

MSE6 Support Adds Earlier CFMOTO Models

In November 2025, HP Tuners announced broader support for CFMOTO vehicles equipped with the MSE6 ECM. This release covered motorcycles and ATVs along with several earlier ZFORCE and UFORCE models.

For the UTV market, the announcement specifically identified the 2017–2021 UFORCE 550, 2017–2020 ZFORCE 550 EX and 2021–2022 ZFORCE 500 Trail/550 EX.

HP Tuners said its MSE6 coverage provides read, edit, scan and write capabilities, with access to supported fueling, ignition and torque-management tables. This can allow a knowledgeable tuner to refine performance, efficiency and drivability while also using VCM Scanner for diagnostics and data collection.

The stated requirements for the MSE6 applications included:

• MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface
• Two Universal Credits per ECM
• VCM Suite 5.1.4950 or newer
• RTD4 and Tune Delivery Network support for remote calibrations

What Is HP Tuners VCM Suite?

VCM Suite combines two primary software tools: VCM Scanner and VCM Editor.

VCM Scanner is used to read diagnostic trouble codes, monitor vehicle data and record information while the engine is operating. This data can help identify problems and give a tuner the information needed to evaluate the results of a calibration or hardware modification.

VCM Editor provides access to the supported tables inside the vehicle’s ECM. Depending on the application, those tables may cover fueling, ignition timing, torque management, throttle behavior and other engine-control functions.

Available parameters can vary considerably between ECMs. Support for a vehicle does not necessarily mean every engine or drivetrain function can be changed.

Remote CFMOTO UTV Tuning With RTD4

RTD4 support allows a CFMOTO owner to work with a professional tuner without purchasing the full MPVI4 calibration interface or developing a tune independently.

The tuner develops and manages the calibration, then uses HP Tuners’ Tune Delivery Network to send it to the owner. The owner uses an RTD4 device to read or write the supported vehicle according to the tuner’s instructions.

This arrangement can be useful for owners who have installed intake, exhaust, turbo or other engine-related upgrades but do not intend to personally edit the ECM calibration. It also gives calibration providers a controlled way to deliver and update tunes remotely.

Why ZFORCE Z10 Tuning Support Matters

The ZFORCE Z10 is CFMOTO’s most performance-oriented sport side-by-side. The latest version produces a claimed 154 horsepower from its turbocharged 998cc three-cylinder engine, placing it well above the naturally aspirated models in the 2027 CFMOTO ZFORCE lineup.

That makes the Z10 a natural target for aftermarket intake, exhaust, turbo and calibration development. Direct access to its factory MG1UA008 ECM gives professional tuners a platform for developing calibrations around different vehicle modifications, riding conditions and fuel requirements.

The absence of a required ECM upgrade service or special adapter cable also simplifies the initial connection process compared with vehicles that require the control module to be removed, unlocked or physically modified before it can be tuned.

However, HP Tuners has not provided specific horsepower claims for a tuned Z10 in its support announcement. Actual results will depend on the calibration, fuel, supporting modifications, operating conditions and mechanical limits of the vehicle.

Verify Compatibility Before Purchasing

CFMOTO has used different engines and control modules across the ZFORCE and UFORCE families. Even when a model name appears on a support list, differences in model year, market or ECM calibration can affect compatibility.

Before purchasing HP Tuners hardware or Universal Credits, owners should confirm:

• The exact vehicle model and model year
• The engine and ECM installed in the vehicle
• The required MPVI, RTD or adapter hardware
• The minimum required VCM Suite version
• The number of Universal Credits needed
• Whether the intended parameters are supported
• Whether an experienced tuner offers a calibration for that application

Owners should also understand that aftermarket ECM calibration can affect vehicle reliability, emissions compliance and factory warranty coverage. Any tune should be developed for the correct vehicle configuration and fuel, with appropriate data logging and testing.

Growing Aftermarket Support for CFMOTO UTVs

HP Tuners’ expanding coverage is another indication that the CFMOTO aftermarket is maturing. The company’s support now reaches from earlier UFORCE and ZFORCE models to the turbocharged Z10 and Z10-4, giving professional tuners access to some of CFMOTO’s most important utility and performance platforms.

The Z10 support is especially significant because it gives the aftermarket direct access to CFMOTO’s flagship turbocharged sport UTV without requiring an ECM upgrade service or separate adapter cable. As tuners gain experience with the platform, owners should have more options for diagnostics, drivability changes and custom calibrations designed around specific performance upgrades.
