CFMOTO ZFORCE Z10 vs. CAM-AM MAVERICK X3 DS

Can-Am vs. CFMOTO

By Jon Crowley

CFMOTO finally announced the release of the ZFORCE Z10 in April 2026. The Z10 is a 64-inch turbocharged trail machine with a  price tag of $19,999 that delivers lots of features. Can-Am Maverick X3 DS is also a 64-inch, turbocharged trail machine that comes in at the same price, so I figured it would be a good idea to drill down a bit and compare these two trail vehicles.

Both of these Turbocharged 64-inch trail machines come it at $19,999, but let’s dive in and take a look at the differences?

  • Z10 has a 12.3″ MMI touchscreen Apple CarPlay. X3 DS has gauges only by steering wheel.
  • Z10 has a one piece welded chassis and ROPS. ROPS connects to chassis in four locations (A, A+, B and C pillars) while the X3 DS connects at A and B only.
  • Z10 has an FOX QSE 2.5″ piggyback reservoir shocks which feature electronic, switch-actuated compression adjustment right from the steering wheel—Soft, Medium, or Firm. X3 DS has 2.5” Showa piggyback shocks with adjustment on the shocks. Z10 steering wheel has shock adjustments right by your right hand thumb.
  • Z10 has an air-to-air intercooler. X3 DS does not have a intercooler.
  • Z10 has 154 hp and the X3 DS has 135hp
  • ZFORCE Z10 is a new model for 2026. Maverick X3 DS is a tried and true unit that has been around since 2017 with modest upgrades along the way.
