Camp RZR 2025 at Glamis: Demos, Shows and Halloween Fun

2025 Camp RZR

Camp RZR returned to the Glamis Imperial Sand Dunes on October 31 and November 1, 2025, bringing Polaris RZR owners and the broader off-road community together for the traditional start of Southern California’s dune-riding season.

Presented under the “Dusty Days, Neon Nights” theme, Camp RZR 2025 combined opportunities to drive the latest RZR models with vehicle service, entertainment, vendors and family activities. Admission to the event was free.

RZR Demo Rides and Vehicle Service

Polaris offered adult and youth demo rides during both days of Camp RZR 2025, giving attendees an opportunity to experience current RZR models in a desert environment. Riders were encouraged to register early because the available demo slots were limited.

Polaris also operated complimentary vehicle-service bays during the event. The service program has long been an important part of Camp RZR, helping owners address eligible maintenance or repair concerns while they are spending the weekend in the dunes.

The RZR has changed considerably since the original 50-inch RANGER RZR 800 arrived for the 2008 model year. Our history of the Polaris RZR follows that development through the XP 900, XP 1000, turbocharged models and today’s Pro platforms.

New Tough Enough Obstacle Course

The Tough Enough Obstacle Course made its Camp RZR debut in 2025. Rather than being a driving course, it tested participants with a series of physical challenges focused on strength, agility and endurance.

Separate versions were designed for adults and children five years old and older, adding another activity for families spending time in the event village between rides.

Halloween at the Camp RZR Witching Hour

Because the first day of Camp RZR fell on Halloween, Polaris introduced the Camp RZR Witching Hour on Friday evening. Activities included trick-or-treating throughout the vendor village and costume contests for children, teenagers and adults.

The Halloween program gave the 2025 event a distinctive identity while retaining the family-friendly atmosphere that has been part of Camp RZR since its early years.

FMX Shows, Custom RZRs and Entertainment

Freestyle motocross performances featured Jeremy “Twitch” Stenberg and Vicki Golden, with shows scheduled on both Friday and Saturday. The event also included live music, Dune Dollars prize activities and pit-stop competitions.

Custom Vehicle Showcases presented by DRT highlighted modified machines from the RZR community. Vendor Village provided another opportunity to see UTV parts, accessories and services from companies serving the sport side-by-side market.

Additional activities included the Polaris Wheel Ferris wheel, food vendors, a kids zone, a RIDE COMMAND Ride & Seek scavenger hunt and Ram 1500 RHO ride-along demonstrations.

Camp RZR 2025 Drone Show

The weekend concluded with a drone show over Glamis on Saturday night. Although the Camp RZR gates had already closed, the aerial display could be viewed from outside the event grounds and from surrounding camps with a clear view toward the Glamis Beach Store area.

Camp RZR’s Place in RZR History

Polaris held the original Camp RZR at Glamis around New Year’s 2012. The gathering grew into an annual celebration built around dune riding, vehicle demonstrations, vendors, entertainment and the community that developed around the RZR.

UTVGuide.net attended that original event and documented it in our Camp RZR Glamis 2012 trip report. Later events expanded to other riding regions, including the large Camp RZR East gathering at Brimstone, but Glamis has remained the event’s spiritual home.

Camp RZR 2025 continued that tradition by combining time in the dunes with new-model experiences, owner support and entertainment during one of Glamis’ most important riding weekends.

This article covers the completed 2025 event. Dates, activities and registration requirements can change for future editions of Camp RZR.
