Casey Currie, an American off-road racer and Monster Energy athlete, recently join Team South Racing / Can-Am to compete and win the Mitsubishi Motors Desafio Inca Challenge (Dakar Series) desert race Sept. 14-16 in Peru, South America. Currie, and co-pilot Laurent Lichtleuchter, drove the No. 202 Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo R side-by-side vehicle — sponsored and built by South Racing and Scott Abraham — to a class victory AND the event overall, edging all categories, including cars and trucks.
