Build Spotlight: Mega SxS Transforms the CFMOTO UFORCE U10 Highland

CFMOTO UFORCE U10 Highland

The 2026 CFMOTO UFORCE U10 Highland represents a new generation of premium utility UTVs. With its factory-enclosed HVAC cab, 998cc triple-cylinder engine, electric-hydraulic dump bed, and refined interior, it’s designed to be just as comfortable working around the property as it is while exploring backcountry trails. As we discussed in our guide comparing factory-equipped HVAC UTVs, today’s enclosed utility models are becoming true four-season machines that blend comfort, capability, and technology into a single package.

But even a well-equipped platform leaves room for customization.

That’s exactly what Mega SxS, a custom UTV builder and powersports dealership based in Sanford, Florida, set out to accomplish with this UFORCE U10 Highland. Rather than building an extreme mud machine or a dedicated trail rig, Mega SxS focused on creating a more versatile utility UTV capable of confidently handling the diverse terrain many riders encounter throughout the Southeast and beyond.

The build centers around SuperATV 4-inch GDP Portal Gear Lifts, SuperATV Atlas Front A-Arms, SuperATV Atlas Rear A-Arms, and 35×10-15 EFX MotoCrusher tires—a combination designed to increase ground clearance, improve stability, strengthen the suspension, and support larger tires without sacrificing the Highland’s everyday usability.

Starting with the Right Platform

One of the biggest strengths of the UFORCE U10 Highland is that it already arrives exceptionally well equipped.

The climate-controlled cab makes year-round riding comfortable, while the smooth triple-cylinder engine, premium interior, and electric hydraulic dump bed give the Highland the refinement many owners expect from a flagship utility UTV. Whether you’re maintaining property, heading to hunting camp, or spending the day exploring forest roads, the Highland offers a strong foundation before a single aftermarket part is installed.

That allowed Mega SxS to focus entirely on expanding the vehicle’s capability rather than adding features it already has.

SuperATV 4-Inch GDP Portal Gear Lifts

SuperATV 4-Inch GDP Portal Gear Lifts

At the heart of the build are SuperATV 4-inch GDP Portal Gear Lifts.

The additional four inches of lift immediately improve obstacle clearance while creating the space needed to comfortably accommodate the 35×10-15 EFX MotoCrusher tires. Rocks, deep ruts, fallen logs, and washouts become much easier to negotiate when the chassis sits higher above the trail.

However, the biggest advantage isn’t simply the extra ride height.

Unlike a conventional lift kit, portal gear lifts relocate gear reduction to the wheel hubs. That lower gearing helps compensate for the larger tire diameter, restoring mechanical advantage that would otherwise be lost when stepping up to oversized tires. The result is a machine that’s better suited for slow-speed trail riding, climbing, hauling, and technical terrain while reducing stress on the drivetrain.

Another major benefit is stability.

The portal system increases the Highland’s track width by approximately eight inches, giving the machine a noticeably wider footprint. While the additional lift improves ground clearance, the wider stance helps maintain confidence on off-camber trails, uneven terrain, and side hills where stability becomes increasingly important.

Editor’s Note: We’re confirming the exact portal configuration, including the gear reduction ratio and whether this build uses single- or dual-idler portals. We’ll update this article as additional details become available.

SuperATV Atlas Front A-Arms

SuperATV Atlas Front and Rear A-Arms

Supporting the portal system are SuperATV Atlas Front A-Arms and SuperATV Atlas Rear A-Arms.

Built for demanding off-road use, these heavy-duty A-arms add strength while also providing additional tire clearance to complement the larger MotoCrusher tires.

The front Atlas A-arms feature a 1.5-inch forward offset, while the rear Atlas A-arms utilize a 1.5-inch rear offset. Together, they help create the room needed for the larger tire package while building a stronger suspension foundation for rough terrain.

As tire size increases, suspension components are subjected to greater forces during impacts and while navigating uneven terrain. By upgrading the A-arms alongside the portal gear lifts, Mega SxS created a suspension package that’s engineered to support the added capability rather than simply accommodate larger tires.

Built for More Than One Type of Terrain

One of the things that makes this build particularly interesting is that Mega SxS didn’t set out to build a dedicated mud machine.

Instead, the goal appears to have been creating a UFORCE U10 Highland that’s equally comfortable tackling muddy trails, water crossings, rocky forest roads, hunting property, and technical trail systems where ground clearance, stability, and suspension performance all matter.

That philosophy influenced the tire choice as much as the suspension.

The 35×10-15 EFX MotoCrusher tires deliver aggressive traction in mud and loose terrain without becoming overly specialized. Riders whose primary focus is axle-deep mud might choose a more extreme, tractor-inspired mud tire, but that often comes with compromises on hard-packed trails, rocky terrain, and mixed conditions.

The MotoCrusher strikes a more balanced approach.

Combined with the additional clearance, lower gearing, wider stance, and strengthened suspension provided by the SuperATV upgrades, the tires help create a Highland that’s prepared for nearly anything the trail throws its way. It’s a package designed to perform across a wide variety of terrain rather than excelling in only one environment.

A Well-Balanced Build

What stands out most about this UFORCE U10 Highland isn’t any single component—it’s how well everything works together.

The SuperATV 4-inch GDP Portal Gear Lifts provide additional clearance, lower gearing, and a wider footprint. The SuperATV Atlas Front and Rear A-Arms strengthen the suspension while creating additional tire clearance. The 35-inch EFX MotoCrusher tires capitalize on those upgrades by adding traction and improving obstacle-clearing capability.

The end result isn’t an extreme mud build or a dedicated trail machine.

Instead, Mega SxS has created a UFORCE U10 Highland that stays true to the vehicle’s original mission while significantly expanding its capabilities. It’s still comfortable enough for long days on the property, refined enough for recreational trail riding, and practical enough for everyday chores—but it’s now better equipped to tackle the kinds of challenging terrain many East Coast and Southern riders encounter on a regular basis.

It’s a thoughtful approach that demonstrates how carefully selected upgrades can enhance an already impressive utility UTV without sacrificing the versatility that made it appealing in the first place.

Other Upgrade Paths for the CFMOTO UFORCE U10

Mega SxS built this UFORCE U10 Highland as a versatile all-around adventure machine that remains comfortable on long trail rides while adding more capability for rough terrain. But that’s only one direction owners can take with the platform.
As the aftermarket for the U10 continues to grow, owners now have several upgrade paths depending on how they use their machine.

Take the U10 to the Next Level with Long Travel

For riders looking to tackle faster desert trails, rough terrain, or larger obstacles, the SuperATV CFMOTO UFORCE U10 Long Travel Kit transforms the U10 into a much more capable trail machine. The suspension widens the vehicle from 64 inches to 72 inches for greater stability, increases ground clearance, and creates room for tires up to 35 inches. Heavy-duty Atlas Pro A-arms, Rhino 2.0 axles, billet tie rods, and optional heavy-duty ball joints make it a comprehensive suspension upgrade for owners seeking maximum off-road performance.

Upgrade the Shocks Without—or With—Long Travel

Whether you keep the factory-width suspension or install the SuperATV long-travel kit, SDi Terrain Master Shocks are worth considering. SDi offers Terrain Master shocks specifically tuned for both the stock-width UFORCE U10 and the SuperATV long-travel suspension, giving owners the flexibility to improve ride quality regardless of which direction they take.

Each shock package is vehicle-specific and features fully rebuildable aluminum construction, billet pistons, compression adjustment, and carefully developed valving to improve small-bump compliance, increase control through rough terrain, and provide more confidence when the trail gets challenging. It’s an upgrade that can benefit virtually any U10, whether it’s a work-focused utility machine, an adventure build like this Mega SxS project, or a fully built long-travel trail rig.
