BROCK HEGER WINS 2025 TOYO TIRES DESERT CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY MONSTER ENERGY LIMITED RACE

Brock Heger
  • Last year’s Prologue winner, Brock Heger (#1896), stood on top of the podium yet again, to take the overall (and in the UTV Open Class) finishing the four lap race in just over 4 hours and 19 minutes in his Polaris RZR Pro-R.
  • Brock Heger: “It’s nice to be back in home territory, today was a good day. We just did our thing and never looked back. We had a ton of fun, looking forward to the rock race on Thursday. Now that we’re in the new RZR Pro R, we’re ready to go get Kyle Cheney from out front.”
  • Doug Mittag (#981) finished today’s race in second, also in a Polaris RZR Pro-R, just over three minutes behind Heger.
  • Doug Mittag: “It was fun, the first 20 miles were super rocky. This is one of the best handling cars out there and I was trying to push really hard in the beginning. There is a lot of competition in this class right now, maybe the most in desert racing. Ryan did a great job all day as my co-driver, he hits his marks and doesn’t fatigue.”
  • Dallas Gonzales (#80) rounded out the podium in third.
