2026 Kawasaki Teryx4 H2 and Teryx5 H2 Add Ice Gray Colors

Kawasaki expanded its 2026 supercharged side-by-side lineup with new Ice Gray versions of the Kawasaki Teryx4 H2 and Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS.

The new colors do not bring mechanical changes. Both machines retain Kawasaki’s 250-horsepower supercharged inline-four engine, 74-inch-wide chassis, 126-inch wheelbase, 33-inch tires and long-travel suspension. The principal differences are passenger capacity and equipment: the Teryx4 H2 has four individual bucket seats, while the Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS carries five occupants and includes Kawasaki’s electronically controlled suspension.

New Ice Gray Teryx H2 Models

The Ice Gray color gives the high-performance Teryx H2 platform a more understated appearance than Kawasaki’s brighter Lime Green treatments. Dark trim and contrasting chassis details preserve the aggressive look without making the body color the visual focus.

Kawasaki offered the additional color on two configurations:

• 2026 Kawasaki Teryx4 H2: Ice Gray with an MSRP of $37,199
• 2026 Kawasaki Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS: Ice Gray/Flat Ebony with an MSRP of $43,699

Both versions were scheduled to reach Kawasaki dealers in early 2026.

250-Horsepower Supercharged Engine

The Teryx4 H2 and Teryx5 H2 use a 999cc liquid-cooled, double-overhead-cam inline-four engine producing a claimed 250 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 146.2 lb-ft of torque. Kawasaki measures the horsepower rating according to ISO 4106 rather than the SAE standard commonly used for automobiles.

A mechanically driven centrifugal supercharger provides boost without relying on exhaust pressure. This gives the engine immediate response and a more linear power curve than many turbocharged engines. Drivers can select Full, Mid or Low power modes, with the reduced settings limiting output to approximately 80 or 60 percent.

The engine is paired with a high-capacity continuously variable transmission developed to handle the combination of high engine speed, horsepower and vehicle weight. A dedicated cooling system moves substantially more air than the system used on the Teryx KRX 1000, while a temperature sensor allows the driver to monitor CVT heat through the instrument display.

Selectable Four-Wheel Drive

A dashboard switch provides three drivetrain settings: 2WD, 4WD and 4WD with the front differential locked. The fully locked setting mechanically couples all four wheels for difficult climbs, loose surfaces and situations in which one or more tires may become unloaded.

Unlike the shorter two-seat 2027 Kawasaki Teryx H2, the four- and five-passenger models do not have Kawasaki Traction Control. Their 126-inch wheelbase and suspension tuning are primarily intended for stability in open desert and dune terrain.

Long-Travel FOX Suspension

Double-wishbone front suspension provides 23.2 inches of wheel travel, while the rear four-link trailing-arm suspension delivers 24 inches. The machines have a 65-inch front track, 64-inch rear track and up to 16.5 inches of ground clearance.

The standard Teryx4 H2 uses FOX 3.0 Internal Bypass shocks with position-sensitive damping. These shocks provide relatively compliant damping through the central portion of the stroke and progressively greater control near compression and extension limits.

The Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS upgrades to FOX 3.0 Live Valve Internal Bypass shocks controlled by Kawasaki Electronically Controlled Suspension, or KECS. Suspension-mounted acceleration sensors, a Bosch inertial measurement unit, steering-angle data and vehicle operating information allow the system to adjust compression damping while the vehicle is moving.

Drivers can select Soft, Normal or Firm suspension modes using steering-wheel controls. Soft emphasizes compliance, Normal balances comfort and control, and Firm increases damping for more aggressive high-speed driving.

Four Seats or Five?

The Teryx4 H2 uses four individual high-backed bucket seats. Every seating position includes a retractable four-point harness, and the rear passengers receive individual seating rather than a bench.

The Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS replaces the two rear bucket seats with a contoured three-person sport bench. It is the better choice for a larger family, although the center rear position naturally provides less individual space than the outboard positions.

Both configurations share the same 159.4-inch overall length, 74-inch width and 126-inch wheelbase. The cargo bed measures 14.6 inches long, 33.1 inches wide and 9.1 inches deep, with a rated capacity of 300 pounds.

Deluxe eS Equipment

Beyond the electronic suspension and five-passenger seating, the Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS includes several features not found on the base Teryx4 H2:

• FOX 3.0 Live Valve Internal Bypass shocks with KECS
• 16-inch aluminum beadlock wheels
• 10-inch Garmin Tread navigation and infotainment display
• Factory audio system with speakers integrated into the doors
• Full roof
• Premium interior and exterior trim

Both models include a steering-column-mounted seven-inch color TFT display, LED lighting, electric power steering, a tilting D-shaped steering wheel and smartphone connectivity through Kawasaki’s RIDEOLOGY app.

Important 2026 Teryx H2 Recall

Certain 2026 Teryx4 H2 and Teryx5 H2 vehicles are included in a safety recall involving the movable drive-converter sheave. A failed sheave could discharge metal fragments and create an impact hazard.

Owners of affected machines were instructed to stop using them until an authorized Kawasaki dealer completed the free repair. The remedy includes replacing the movable clutch sheave assembly, installing a clutch-cover guard and reprogramming the ECU. Where These Models Fit in the Teryx H2 Lineup

The Ice Gray additions broadened the appearance choices without changing the original Teryx H2 formula. The standard Teryx4 H2 delivers the same 250-horsepower engine and core chassis at the lowest price, while the Teryx5 H2 Deluxe eS adds a fifth seat, electronic suspension, navigation, audio, beadlock wheels and a roof.
