The 2025 edition of the UTV Takeover Tour 2025 rolled into one of the most spectacular UTV playgrounds in the country — Sand Hollow State Park near Hurricane, Utah on October 14–19, 2025.
As one of three stops on the tour (alongside Coos Bay and Winchester Bay in Oregon), this Utah event promised to deliver a full week of high-adrenaline UTV action, guided rides, family-friendly activities and vendor showcases.
Polaris and Segway had booths setup and were offering demo ride of their vehicles. Polaris had just announced their new RZR XP S, so I signed up for a demo ride to see what it was all about!
Robby Gordon wanted me to check out their newest offering, so I jumped in the passenger seat or a bit and then got some shots of him rock crawling on Double Sammy and Triple 7 in the new Speed UTV “Rock Edition”. In typical Robby fashion, the unit he was driving did not have several accessories that are integral to this new model, but it was good to see it in action nevertheless.
The Rock Race was one of my highlights for the week. A guy in an original RZR S 800 jumped in and stole the show!
Also loved to see Kallie Kee compete in the rock race in the UTV Pros RS1.5:
Always a crowd favorite, the HuckFest gathered a large crowd. Wyatt Hastings sent his Segway Super Villain in a nice display or air superiority!
Overall, it was a great week of riding and events at UTV Takeover. If you have never been to Sand Hollow, put it on your to-do list.
One suggestion I have for UTV Takeover is to figure out how to allow people to come and visit the vendor area without paying. All your vendors would appreciate the additional foot traffic!
Polaris announced several updates for 2026 and had the new models at UTV Takeover
