David and Clover
My son David got into riding horses and that led to showing this
last year. He has a pony now named Clover and recently showed at
the Let's Show Halloween Celebration at Murieta Equestrian Center near
Sacramento California.
David and Clover did great over the weekend and pulled
in three seconds and a reserve champion in the costume show on Saturday
night. Sunday he pulled in the walk/trot champion for the open class!
Golf carts have been a hit with people that go to these
shows for quite some time now. The different arenas can be quite a
distance from the stalls so it is nice to have vehicle to carry people
and gear back and forth.
We have recently seen a few more UTVs hit the horse
shows that serve the same purpose as the golf carts and this show
was no exception. We spied a Honda Big Red, a Polaris RANGER
XP and a Yamaha Rhino.
I also checked out a Bobcat Toolcat 5600 that was used
by the grounds maintenance crew at the Murieta Equestrian Center.
